What is dot pitch or pixel pitch?

The dot pitch or pixel pitch is defined as the distance between the edge of a pixel and the same
edge of the neighboring pixel. The dot pitch is measured in millimeters (mm), with a smaller
number typically translating into a sharper image. Concurrently, a smaller pixel pitch for the
same resolution LCD display will also result in a smaller image.
